I'm almost a year post op yet my entire mouth feels very tight, my nose is constantly flaring and I feel a lot of pressure on my upper teeth/gums. I really think it's the plates near my upper jaw nasal area that's causing all these issues, yet my doctor refuses to remove the plates saying it will widen my nose even after alar cinch and there are risks of tissues and muscle damage. Will removing my upper jaw plates really widen my nose? Thanks.

I had this done and almost passed out because the my doctor said ok so now I hit the bone so we will just walk the needle across until we hit the nerve!!! I was like No, no thank you. No walking needles across the bone please. It was a very painful procedure and I had no relief from the pain in my face. 0/10 do not recommend getting it done.
